How does Fixed Mastering work?
For mastering, please send a message via the Track Submission page or utilize the Contact page. You will receive a reply with further details about track submission and the payment process. After receiving your music, you will be provided with a brief mix evaluation to determine if it's ready to be mastered. If any changes are needed, I will work with you to get the best mix possible for an optimal master.
If you're a new customer, I can provide you with a preview clip of your master. If approved and you decide to proceed with the project, a full version will be available to download upon payment confirmation.
When sending back mastered tracks, you will receive a standard master and a master compliant with loudness standards for streaming services (Spotify, Youtube, iTunes store, etc). There is an option to specify your desired format on the Track Submission page.
What is your turnaround time?
3-5 business days. If you need it completed sooner, please let me know and we can work together to accommodate your timeline.
What formats do you master for?
Mastering for all formats is available - Online, CD, Tape, and Vinyl.
For streaming distribution, you will receive loudness compliant masters, so that they are not turned down or squashed when uploaded. iTunes store masters will be ensured as mastered for iTunes, so that no artifacts or distortion occur upon AAC encoding.
Let us know how you plan to distribute your music, and we will provide you with the required masters. Hint: Use the form on our Track Submission page.
